The Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition Ref. M25807KN-0001 represents one of the most technically distinctive watches in the modern Pelagos family. Introduced in 2023 to celebrate Tudor’s partnership with the Alinghi Red Bull Racing sailing team, it was also the first Pelagos model to incorporate a chronograph. The 43mm case is constructed from lightweight matte black carbon composite, complemented by titanium chronograph pushers and a titanium screw-down crown. Its matte blue dial draws directly from the Alinghi Red Bull Racing color scheme, with luminous Snowflake hands, bold hour markers, and red accents across the chronograph counters. A 60-minute bidirectional titanium bezel fitted with a matte carbon-composite insert, flat sapphire crystal, fixed strap bars, single-piece blue fabric strap, and 200 meters of water resistance reinforce the FXD’s purpose-built sporting character.
Powering the M25807KN is Tudor’s Manufacture Calibre MT5813, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the 41-jewel movement incorporates a non-magnetic silicon balance spring and delivers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Its chronograph layout includes central elapsed seconds, a 45-minute counter at 3 o’clock, running seconds at 9, and an instantaneous date positioned at 6. Unlike many collaboration watches that are primarily cosmetic, the Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition uses carbon composite and titanium in a way that directly reflects the lightweight, high-performance materials employed in competitive yacht racing. With its unusual construction, fixed-bar FXD architecture, manufacture chronograph movement, and status as the first chronograph in Pelagos history, the M25807KN stands apart as one of Tudor’s most technically adventurous modern sports watches.

Brand History
Brand History
Tudor was established in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, with a vision to create watches that offered the same reliability and precision as Rolex, but at a more accessible price point. Built with robust Swiss movements and housed in Rolex-quality cases, Tudor quickly earned a reputation for producing tool watches trusted by military units and professional divers around the world. In the 1950s and ‘60s, Tudor introduced iconic models like the Oyster Prince Submariner, worn by the French Navy, and carved out a legacy as a maker of rugged, no-nonsense timepieces built to perform under extreme conditions.
In recent years, Tudor has reemerged as one of the most exciting names in modern watchmaking. Collections like the Black Bay, Pelagos, and Ranger pay homage to the brand’s vintage roots while incorporating in-house calibers and contemporary design updates. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight, in particular, has become a collector favorite for its perfect blend of vintage proportions and modern engineering. With a design language all its own and a renewed focus on manufacturing independence, Tudor has established itself as far more than Rolex’s younger sibling—it’s a brand that balances heritage, innovation, and value with serious horological credibility.
