Synchron Poseidon Ice Diver

The Synchron Poseidon Ice Diver is a purpose-built Swiss dive watch that combines Synchron’s 1970s-inspired tool-watch design language with a distinctive connection to Swedish diving equipment specialist Poseidon. Limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, the Ice Diver features a 42mm 316L stainless steel case with a compact 45mm lug-to-lug measurement, giving it substantial dive-watch presence without wearing excessively large. Its crisp white dial is contrasted by bold luminous markers, high-visibility yellow accents, and the recognizable Poseidon logo, creating a distinctly cold-water diving aesthetic. Surrounding the dial is a 120-click unidirectional bezel fitted with a sapphire crystal insert and fully luminous elapsed-time scale. Super-LumiNova throughout, a screw-down crown, 300 meters of water resistance, and the genuine light-grey ISOfrane rubber strap complete a package designed around serious underwater functionality.

Inside is the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G100 Top Grade automatic movement, a significant step above the movements typically encountered in smaller independent dive watches. The 24-jewel caliber is adjusted in four positions by La Joux-Perret and features hacking seconds, a solid tungsten winding rotor, KIF shock protection, and approximately 68 hours of power reserve. Each Ice Diver was individually serialized and hand-assembled in Switzerland, with the entire 1,000-piece production now sold out. Combining a high-spec Swiss movement, sapphire bezel, 300-meter depth rating, ISOfrane strap, and unmistakable white-and-yellow Poseidon color scheme, the Ice Diver offers an appealing mixture of vintage military-diver character and modern construction, while its limited production has made it one of the more collectible early releases from the revived Synchron brand.
