The S.U.F Helsinki 180C Red Dial (also known as Red Karpalo) is a limited-edition Finnish field watch crafted by S.U.F Helsinki (SarpanevaUhrenFabrik), an independent brand founded by noted watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva that blends Swiss horology with Scandinavian design sensibilities. The 180C is part of the 180 series, a stripped-back automatic field watch conceived as a functional yet refined timepiece, with bold dial colors inspired by Finnish nature and minimal, highly legible design cues. Like other 180 variants, it was hand-assembled in Helsinki and limited to just 50 pieces, making it especially collectible among enthusiasts of independent watches.

The watch is built around a 38.7 mm stainless steel case machined from high-grade Finnish Outokumpu steel, with a slim ~8.9 mm profile and a comfortable lug-to-lug of ~46.4 mm, striking a versatile balance between everyday wear and rugged field-watch utility. Powering the 180C is a Swiss Soprod A10 automatic movement beating at 28,800 vph with about 42 hours of power reserve and offering hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions.
