Inside is Rolex’s Caliber 3235, the major mechanical upgrade that accompanied the transition from the 116622 to the 126622. The automatic Superlative Chronometer movement features Rolex’s Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve, with accuracy rated to -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The three-link Oyster bracelet is secured by an Oysterlock safety clasp and includes the 5mm Easylink comfort extension for quick adjustment. With its combination of steel and platinum, understated rhodium/slate dial, vibrant blue accents, and modern-generation 3235 movement, the 126622 occupies a unique position in the Rolex Professional collection—sportier than a Datejust but intentionally more luxurious and nautical in character than the Submariner.
