Omega Speedmaster 1957 Trilogy 311.10.39.30.01.001

The Omega Speedmaster 1957 Trilogy Ref. 311.10.39.30.01.001 was released in 2017 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the original Speedmaster CK2915, recreating the groundbreaking 1957 chronograph with remarkable attention to detail. Limited to 3,557 individually numbered pieces, the watch features a compact 38.6mm stainless steel case modeled from digital scans of the original CK2915, complete with straight lugs and no crown guards. Its black “tropical” dial uses recessed hour markers filled with vintage-toned Super-LumiNova, while the signature Broad Arrow hands, applied Omega logo, and period-correct typography closely mirror the first Speedmaster. A stainless steel tachymeter bezel with the historically accurate “Dot Over 90” scale, Hesalite crystal with etched Omega logo, and vintage-inspired flat-link stainless steel bracelet further reinforce the 1950s aesthetic. The watch was part of Omega’s 1957 Trilogy alongside commemorative versions of the Seamaster 300 and Railmaster, the three professional models Omega originally introduced together in 1957.

Inside is Omega’s manually wound Calibre 1861, the Lemania-derived chronograph movement closely associated with the modern Speedmaster Professional. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, the 18-jewel movement provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve and uses the proven cam-actuated chronograph architecture that served the Speedmaster for decades. Unlike later Speedmaster ’57 models with modern Co-Axial movements and larger cases, the 2017 Trilogy edition was specifically conceived as a faithful recreation of the original CK2915, making its smaller case, steel bezel, Broad Arrow handset, and manual-wind movement central to its appeal. With only 3,557 examples produced, the 311.10.39.30.01.001 combines the look and proportions of the very first Speedmaster with the reliability of the Calibre 1861, making it one of Omega’s most compelling modern heritage recreations.
