1970 Omega Constellation 168.017 "Linen Dial"
Omega introduced the Constellation line in 1952 as its formal dress watch offering, and the model is still well and alive today. Omega knew how to create a timeless design with a simple yet elegant overall finish, but with a twist – in the form of a silver textured dial in this example. As with the rest of the Constellation series, this watch features a screw-down caseback with the Observatory logo and chronometer-grade Omega automatic caliber 564 movement with a quick date feature in the signature copper-colored finish. The quick-set date feature on this one is interesting in that it works by pulling the crown in and out, as opposed to the usual turning of the crown in a certain position. This example comes with the original accessories.
