The MB&F M.A.D.2 R&B Red is one of the most imaginative and sought-after releases to emerge from the M.A.D.Editions collection, bringing MB&F's signature mechanical creativity to a broader audience. Designed by renowned watch designer Eric Giroud, the M.A.D.2 draws inspiration from 1990s club culture, vinyl records, and DJ turntables, resulting in a timepiece unlike anything else on the market. Its smooth 42mm stainless steel "pebble" case surrounds a striking black dial plate with concentric grooves that resemble a spinning record, while vibrant red rotating discs display the jumping hours and trailing minutes. Every element of the watch celebrates movement and music, making the M.A.D.2 R&B as much a piece of kinetic art as it is a mechanical timekeeper. Available exclusively through MB&F's raffle system, the R&B edition was produced in a limited run, making it an instant collector's favorite.
Powering the M.A.D.2 R&B is a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret Caliber G101 automatic movement fitted with a proprietary MB&F-developed jumping-hour and trailing-minute display module. Operating at 4Hz with an impressive 64-hour power reserve, the movement delivers the reliability of a proven Swiss caliber while showcasing the unconventional display concepts for which MB&F is renowned. A domed sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback, and premium leather strap complete the package, while the playful alien-themed clasp and crown reinforce the brand's whimsical personality. Blending avant-garde design, innovative mechanics, and genuine exclusivity, the MB&F M.A.D.2 R&B Red has quickly become one of the most desirable independent watch releases in recent years, offering collectors an accessible entry into the creative universe of MB&F without compromising on originality or craftsmanship.

Brand History
Brand History
Swiss watch industry veteran, businessman, and entrepreneur Maximilian Büsser founded his eponymous brand MB&F (“Maximilian Büsser & Friends”) in 2005 following accomplished stints at Harry Winston and Jaeger-LeCoultre. A horological laboratory of sorts, MB&F is unlike traditional watchmaking enterprises, bringing together innovators from across the industry to collaborate on “Horological Machines” and “Legacy Machines” — timekeeping devices and wristwatches that push the creative and engineering envelopes in completely new directions.
A relatively small and nimble company, MB&F crafts kinetic sculptures in partnership with some of the most learned minds in watchmaking, including Stephen McDonnell, Kari Voutilainen, L’Epée, and others, the results of which are breathtaking. Certain of these works are displayed in the company’s “M.A.D. Galleries” (“mechanical art devices”) around the world, allowing buyers, potential customers, and others to view the firm’s groundbreaking horological art in a nontraditional setting.
MB&F and its creations have been awarded by the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève — the “Oscars” of the watch world — in recognition of the firm’s creativity, spirit, and watchmaking accomplishment. Truly, there are few companies operating today whose wares can be considered as thought-provoking and innovative as those of Maximilian Büsser & Friends.
