The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds Ref. Q3988482 combines the unmistakable Art Deco architecture of the Reverso with one of the collection’s most useful complications. Its stainless steel swiveling case measures 47mm x 28.3mm and 10.3mm thick, retaining the elongated proportions and three horizontal gadroons inspired by the original Reverso of 1931. The front features a rich blue sunray-brushed dial with applied faceted hour markers, Dauphine hands, and a small-seconds register at 6 o’clock. Flip the case over and the watch reveals an entirely different personality: a silver-grey dial decorated with a combination of velvety finishing and Clous de Paris guilloché, displaying an independently adjustable second time zone along with a 24-hour day/night indicator. Water resistance is rated to 30 meters, while the blue leather strap was specially designed for Jaeger-LeCoultre by renowned Argentinian bootmaker Casa Fagliano.

Both dials are powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s in-house Calibre 854, a manually wound rectangular movement specifically shaped to maximize the available space within the Reverso case. Composed of 160 components and 19 jewels, it operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. Remarkably, a single 3.8mm-thick movement drives two complete displays positioned back-to-back, with the second time zone adjusted through a discreet slider hidden in the case band.
