The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph Ref. Q9028180 (Blue Dial) is a refined luxury sports chronograph that blends the brand’s 1960s diving heritage with modern chronograph engineering and contemporary design. Introduced in 2018 as part of the Polaris collection, it takes inspiration from the legendary 1968 Memovox Polaris while adapting the look for everyday wear. The watch features a 42 mm stainless steel case with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, paired with a richly textured blue dial that combines sunburst, grained, and opaline finishes for depth and visual interest.
The dial layout includes chronograph sub-dials (30-minute and 12-hour counters), luminous Arabic numerals and markers for legibility, and a tachymeter scale that reinforces its motorsport-inspired character. Inside, the watch is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 751H automatic chronograph movement, offering approximately 65 hours of power reserve and smooth chronograph operation. A sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement, while 100 m water resistance ensures durability for daily use.

Brand History
Brand History
aeger-LeCoultre, founded in 1833 in Switzerland's Vallée de Joux, began as a small workshop established by Antoine LeCoultre. Driven by innovation and precision, LeCoultre's company quickly gained recognition for its high-quality timepieces and movement production. In 1903, a partnership with Parisian businessman Edmond Jaeger led to the formation of Jaeger-LeCoultre, combining Swiss watchmaking expertise with French elegance.
Throughout the 20th century, Jaeger-LeCoultre solidified its position as a leader in watchmaking innovation. The company's milestones include the creation of the world's thinnest pocket watch (1925), the self-winding Atmos clock (1928), the iconic Reverso watch (1931), and the Master Memovox alarm wristwatch (1950). Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to operate as a true "Manufacture," designing and producing its timepieces entirely in-house, while maintaining its legacy of innovation and exceptional craftsmanship.
