Regular price $0 Unit price  per

The SBGH267 is a 2018 worldwide limited edition of just 1,500 pieces that was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Caliber 9S. Originally only available through select Grand Seiko retailers, this SBGH267 includes a dial motif that is executed in a spiral configuration. Its special intertwined engraving includes the Grand Seiko logo as well as the mark of Daini Seikosha periodically throughout the design. Incorporated with its blue color, the result is an extremely memorizing, ultra-cool aesthetic.

Stainless steel and gold coloring is also present via the pinpoint precise seconds hand and applied ‘GS’ logo. Of course, there is the use of zaratsu polishing throughout the multi-faceted hour and minute hands, as well as its magnific and delicately poised hour markers.

The 39.5mm stainless steel case is a wonderfully balanced size with proportions suited to a solid range of wrist sizes. Inside its exceptionally finished case is the 9S85 Hi-Beat Grand Seiko Caliber with 55 hours of power reserve and an accurate of +5 to –3 seconds a day. Oh, and you probably saw the vibrate blue tungsten and anodized titanium oscillating weight through the display caseback; not bad, right?

About Grand Seiko

Grand Seiko emerged in 1960 as a high-end watch line from Seiko, aiming to challenge Swiss dominance in luxury watchmaking. The brand quickly established itself with Japan's first chronometer-grade watch and later gained renown for its innovative Spring Drive technology, which combines the best of automatic and quartz movements. In 2017, Grand Seiko became an independent entity, solidifying its position in the luxury watch market.

The brand's design philosophy, known as the "Grammar of Design," was established in 1967 with the Grand Seiko 44GS. This aesthetic approach emphasizes legibility, refined appearances, and distinctive features like multi-faceted markers and hands, a half-recessed crown, and the meticulous Zaratsu polishing technique. Grand Seiko continues to push boundaries in watchmaking, as evidenced by recent innovations like the "Kodo Constant-Force Tourbillon," while maintaining its commitment to precision engineering and unique design language.
