Grand Seiko Evolution 9 SLGA017 'Blue Glacier' AJHH Special Edition
Grand Seiko once again works with the Association Japon de la Haute Horlogerie (AJHH) for a unique limited collaboration model. The Grand Seiko SLGA017 is a particular model only available exclusively at AJHH member stores in Japan!!
By imitating the scenery of snowy mountains and clear blue sky in the winter around the Mt. Iwate area, the home of Grand Seiko mechanical watchmaking, a very light blue color was adopted and matched a snowy ground texture like dial, this dial is a new classic called the 'Skyflake' which is a special pale blue on the signature 'Snowflake' textured dial creating different shades just like in Shinshu, where the watch is produced, on a beautiful winter day when the clear blue sky is reflecting on snow surfaces.
The “GS” logo on the buckle of the bracelet is made of 18K yellow gold as a touch of luxury, which marks another special feature of this very limited model.
The SLGA017 follows the 40mm stainless steel case design of the 9R movement series (5 days Spring Drive). Using hard lines and sharp edges to create a simple and clean finish.
