1978 Rolex Submariner 1680

The Submariner Date is a classic twist on the iconic dive watch, offering the date complication as a useful addition for daily life. This 1680 is a very beautiful example with a great case that has strong lugs and crown guards. The perfect Mk2 matte dial has hour plots that have taken on a pumpkin hue over the decades and are a nice match with the hands. Case is in amazing shape with light normal wear. Bracelet has light normal wear with minimal stretch. Dial is an untouched matte dial that has had its lume become an orange pumpkin color. Hands are in great shape and were professionally relumed with tritium and then color matched. Bezel is in great shape and has become a light blue hue and has a replacement luminova pearl. Watch is running strong at (+11s/d 269 Amp).
