Produced around the mid-to-late 1970s, the reference features a slim rectangular case measuring approximately 33mm x 24mm and crafted entirely from 18k yellow gold. Surrounding the dial is an elaborate pyramid or Clous de Paris-style textured bezel, giving the case an architectural, almost jewelry-like appearance that is dramatically different from Rolex’s familiar Oyster models. The centerpiece is its genuine natural burl wood dial, with each piece displaying its own unique grain, coloration, and pattern.
