Pre-Owned: Tudor 79170

A lot of collectors call the Daytona the big brother when in fact the Tudor Big Block is the big brother of the Daytona and practically the Sea Dweller if we talk about case size. People don’t know that the Tudor Big Block Automatic Chronograph was years before the Rolex Daytona. The case being a Rolex case, was the deepest oyster case made until the Sea Dweller got sized up for diving. The Big Block was truly ahead of it’s time being scoped up by collectors for this reason.

Case Reference: 79170

Dial and Hands: Original Big Block Reverse Panda dial. Hands are free of corrosion. Tritium lume dots are in perfect condition with no deterioration.

Case: Unpolished with micro scratches along the lugs but no deep marks anywhere.

Bezel: Still a deep black Rotating with ease, clean other than one mark next to the 2.

Bracelet: Fitted with an original 78360 bracelet, paired with 589 endlinks.

Caseback: Rolex Signed Caseback

Movement: Valjoux 7750 serviced in 2020

Glass: Sapphire crystal with no scuff or chips
