About Belmont Watches
At Belmont Watches, we believe that every timepiece tells a story, not just through craftsmanship, but through the lives they touch. Based in San Diego, we specialize in buying, selling, and curating both modern and vintage luxury watches, with a focus on authenticity, quality, and personal connection.
Lifelong watch enthusiast Adam Beardsley founded Belmont Watches on decades of hands-on experience, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for horology. Our team brings together expertise in watch collecting, custom jewelry design, client engagement, and digital strategy to offer a personalized and transparent buying experience, whether online or in our showroom at the San Diego Jewelry Exchange.
From your first luxury watch to a grail-level vintage piece, we’re here to help you find the timepiece that fits your story. We also offer custom jewelry design, certified appraisals, and actively buy fine watches and jewelry from the public. Everything we do is guided by integrity, enthusiasm, and a shared respect for the value and meaning behind every piece we touch.
We invite you to visit our showroom, explore online, or contact us for a personal consultation. At Belmont Watches, your next timepiece is waiting to tell its story.
Adam Beardsley – CEO, Belmont Watches
Adam Beardsley is the founder and CEO of Belmont Watches, a trusted source for luxury and vintage timepieces in San Diego and beyond. His passion for horology began in 1994 when his dad took him to pick out his first serious watch — a Tag Heuer. But it truly started in the '80s, with a Timex Ironman that sparked a lifelong appreciation for the way watches connect us to time, milestones, and memories.
Since then, Adam has personally handled hundreds of thousands of watches, building deep expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and curating rare and sought-after pieces. At Belmont, he leads the company’s vision and ensures every watch and customer experience reflects the integrity and passion that define the brand.
For Adam, watches aren’t just mechanical tools — they’re heirlooms, celebrations, and personal statements. Belmont Watches was built around that belief: that every piece should be authentic, meaningful, and ready to be part of someone’s story.
Anthony Rynearson – Operations Manager, Belmont Watches
Anthony Rynearson brings over 11 years of experience in the watch industry and heads day-to-day operations at Belmont Watches. He ensures everything you see — from the online listings to Instagram posts and YouTube videos — reflects the quality and passion behind every timepiece.
Anthony oversees all digital content — from photography and video to social media and marketing — while managing Belmont’s website and e-commerce platforms. He helps connect watches with the right buyers and plays a key role in shaping how clients interact with the brand online and in person.
What draws Anthony to watches is their ability to reflect individuality. He believes there’s a perfect piece out there for everyone, whether you’re into tool watches, vintage rarities, or timeless icons. His journey began with a quirky, two-tone Chevrolet-branded watch — a far cry from a luxury timepiece, but proof that every collector starts somewhere.
Alex Brown – Sales Manager & Head Jeweler, Belmont Watches
Alex Brown brings over 20 years of experience in the watch and jewelry industry to Belmont Watches. A GIA Diamond Graduate since 2012, Alex has purchased over $20 million in watches and jewelry from the public throughout his career. His background managing multiple Jewelry & Loan locations in Montana and California shaped his sharp eye for quality, value, and craftsmanship.
At Belmont, Alex leads both online and showroom sales, consults on high-end watch purchases, and specializes in custom jewelry design. Whether you're looking to create a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, sell a timepiece, or evaluate an estate collection, Alex provides personalized, expert guidance.
He’s especially drawn to watches from the 1960s and 1970s — an era rich in design, innovation, and cultural influence. For Alex, the magic of watches is in their story: the function they served, the time they reflect, and the meaning they hold for their owners.
